2024 Daytona 500: Byron Wins

Byron holds off a hard-charging Ross Chastain who crashes in the tri-oval coming to the white flag, giving Hendrick their first Daytona 500 win since 2014.

William Byron (#24) beat Alex Bowman (#48) to the checkered flag.

Joey Logano (#22) dominates from the pole, wins Stage 1 Logano leads the most laps of the race with 46. Tyler Reddick (#45) takes Stage 2 with a strong run The Big One collects 23 cars with 9 to go One of the largest crashes in Daytona 500 history. Byron (#24) wins as Chastain and Cindric crash behind Chastain tried to pass Byron for the lead and lost control.
